AllOccasionsAprons of the St. Stephen's Community Church Sewing Guild offers unique, handmade items, including custom aprons, themed collections, and lap scarves and robes. Proceeds support the Greer Community Learning Center and Computer Lab with educational programs for Lansing-area youth and adults.
The mission of the Capital Region Community Foundation is to lead philanthropic solutions that build vibrant communities in Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties. It accomplishes its mission by serving donors to meet their personal charitable goals, supporting area nonprofits with grants and coaching, and leading innovative projects that drive community growth.
The Uplift Our Youth Foundation empowers youth to achieve success and live healthy productive lives. It provides funding to smaller and under funded non-profit organizations and programs that directly impact youth in Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton counties. It awards grants and sponsorship to causes, organizations, and programs that have a primary focus of youth achievement and success with an emphasis on serving “at-promise” youth, diversity inclusion, education, culture, employment and life skills management.
The City of Lansing (CoL) generously supports the GCLC through its grants program. CoL grants target organizations and programs that provide services in helping Lansing residents meet their basic needs, employability development, health, mental health, and life skills.
Michigan State University (MSU) provides educational programs and assists with field trips for GCLC youth. Many thanks to the MSU groups that regularly volunteer with us: College of Engineering, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and MSU Tennis Club.
Lansing Community College (LCC) provides educational programs and assists with field trips for GCLC youth. Many thanks to the LCC Lifelong Learning Youth Program.
The Kids Repair Program provides positive experiences and educational opportunities in bicycle safety, repair, maintenance and biking, as healthy exercise for youth in the Tri-County area.
